If you are stationed at Fort Gordon and looking for care off post, MCCYN fee assistance may help cover the cost of community child care. Here is how it works, and how we can help.
Army Fee Assistance is provided through the Department of Defense’s Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) program. It helps eligible families offset the cost of community child care when on-post care is not available. It is open to active-duty soldiers, Guard and Reserve members on qualifying Title 10 or Title 32 orders over 30 days, Army civilian employees, and Army Gold Star spouses. Spouses generally need to be working, seeking work, or enrolled as students.
Applications start at MilitaryChildCare.com — you build a household profile, submit a Request for Care, and if assistance is offered you accept within two business days and then complete the enrollment application. Families have 90 days to finish with supporting documents.
Fort Gordon families have been part of our program from the beginning. We currently accept MCCYN fee assistance, and we’d be glad to walk you through how it works for your family. Ask us on your tour.
Every family’s situation is a little different. On your tour, we’ll gladly walk you through how MCCYN fee assistance works with our enrollment and tuition, and answer any questions you have.
We would rather answer every cost question up front than have a family surprised by an invoice.
