Grovetown has grown faster than its childcare has. A lot of the families here moved for the schools and the housing, and then found the infant rooms full.
If you are on three waitlists and none of them has moved, you already know the problem. Supply has not kept up, and infant care is the tightest part of it — because infants are the most expensive children to staff, and infant rooms are the first thing a program shrinks when money is tight.
Our infant room holds six babies. Georgia allows infant groups of up to twelve. We built the business so that we do not have to.
| Room | Our group size | Georgia’s legal maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Infants | 6 | 12 |
| Younger toddlers | 8 | 16 |
| Older toddlers | 7 | 20 |
| Preschool | 12 | 30 |
That is the whole trade, stated plainly: fewer families paying tuition against the same rent and the same teachers, which is why our rate is $325 a week ($350 for infants) and not lower. The legal maximums are published here in full, along with why they are a poor deal for a child.
Grovetown is the closest of the three Columbia County towns to the post, and a large share of the families here are military.
We currently accept MCCYN fee assistance, and we’d be glad to walk you through how it works for your family. Ask us on your tour. The full explanation, including what we are doing about it, is here.
Search 30813 at families.decal.ga.gov to read the inspection reports and complaint history for every licensed program in Grovetown. It went live in July 2026 and almost nobody is using it yet. Here is how to read what comes back.
We are opening in Martinez, so for a Grovetown family we are a deliberate choice rather than the nearest door. Worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on a tour: one weekly rate of $325 ($350 for infants) covers home-cooked meals, all materials, all activities, Spanish through the day, and 7:00am to 5:30pm hours. Every charge we have is published.
Grovetown and Fort Gordon families: infant spots are the hardest thing to find in the area, and ours are limited to eight. Tour Perla’s current program, and see whether we’re the right fit before you join the list.
